Bristol Township Left Hand Turn Motorcycle Crash Ends Tragically

On Monday, May 20, 2019 tragic motorcycle accident occurred when a Chevy S10 allegedly pulled into the path of an oncoming motorcycle. The rider was taken to Lower Bucks Hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

According to The Patch, this was the second deadly motorcycle wreck in Bristol in the last 48hrs. The other accident involved just one vehicle where the passenger was severely injured and the driver died.

We are deeply saddened to learn of these crashes.

Left Hand Turn Motorcycle Crashes:

Unfortunately, after a motorcycle crash, we often hear that the driver either didn’t see the motorcycle in time or never noticed them. These types of collisions are often preventable if the driver had looked twice.

Motorcycles have slim profiles and drivers often miss them when not paying close attention to where they are going. When a vehicle turns in front of a motorcycle, the biker is often left with milliseconds of time to react and there is often no way to avoid a collision.

Contact a Motorcycle Accident Lawyer:

Loved ones who have lost a family member in a motorcycle crash should be aware of “wrongful death claims”. A Wrongful death occurs when the act, omission or misconduct of another (either an individual or company) results in the death of someone.

Victims injured in a motorcycle crash should also be aware that insurers frequently attempt to blame the rider for some or all of the crash. That’s why it is important to speak to a personal injury attorney who has experience working with motorcycle crashes in your area.
